A busy town south-east of KL, known across Malaysia for its satay. The Kajang Line MRT starts here and runs to TRX and Bukit Bintang without a change, though it's a long ride, and KTM Komuter continues south to UKM and Bangi.

Commute

Where your mornings go.

From Kajang station on a weekday morning, including the wait for each train. KTM Komuter is on a reduced timetable until the end of 2026 while the line is double-tracked: trains every 15 to 30 minutes at rush hour, and on some stretches none in the middle of the day. Check KTMB's timetable before you count on it.
